This is my first project in College, and my first blog ever (so please don't be mad if I balls it up)!
The draft was incredibly limiting (a 60sec short with only 10 diffrent camera shots) and had to have the title 'After the Storm'. I found this even harder to be creative as just about every idea comprising with that title had been done before by previous years.
I was just about able to wrestle a drug idea from it with the help of my usual 2.am exhausted mind ideas (works great, but you have to be carful about how you act in the evenings when using this for prolonged periods. The last time I did this, I had a laughing fit outside the @Bristol building for 6 minutes. It hurt afterwards).
The idea was great and, with the help of the group I'm with, it became an even better idea which encompassed CCTV 'fly on the wall' tequnices, and the deal its self instead of just the effects.
Today, we were able to get a 'Stickman' storyboard scribbled (with lots of comments on the 'side view' of the stick).
I got put as the druggie for the shoot (don't know how I'm going to snort salt up my nose, can't stand it).
Have to wait for next week to find out.
